DevEd

CRCID believes in promoting the concept of sustainable development to Rotarians in Canada. Development Education is a large part of CRCID as a training program which uses a Results Based Management tool (RBM).

Originally the "Dev-Ed" Committee was created to encourage the participation of Clubs in development education opportunities that exist within CRCID. The Committee works to increase Club impact and to monitor the effectiveness of programs.

The Canadian Rotary Development Education Workshop was created to enable Rotarians to reflect on the nature of international development.
It will allow Rotarians to consider current strategies for Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) as they relate to the Rotary World Community Service.
